In this course students will develop an understanding of the nutritional needs of teenagers, how society influences their food choices and well-being, and the importance of practices and strategies to keep food safe. Students will demonstrate their knowledge through practical experiences. For the external A. S., students will demonstrate their knowledge of nutritional panels and other information on packaged food.
